2 RYA Safety Boat Skills for drivers of escort craft, safety boats, coach boats, and racing and training activities 2 days - To be advised / on demand £210 (discounts for DSC & SYCSA members)
3 RYA Level 2 & Basic Rescue Skills This course will follow the parts of the Safety Boat course relevant to small clubs, like Durleigh SC, and aims to provide the skills & knowledge to help club powerboat drivers in basic rescue techniques 1 day - To be advised / on demand £75

 

RYA Level 2:

Courses are announced in advance.

This is a very popular course and fills quickly.

Students are provided with a RYA Powerboat Logbook and are expected to have studied it prior to the course.

 

RYA Safety Boat:

The course is designed as a fleet rescue qualification and is the minimum level required for controlling larger fleets.

Participants must be 16 years or older and have completed a Level 2 powerboat certificate including one seasons driving experience.

Students are provided with a RYA Safety Boat handbook and are expected to have studied it prior to the course.

 

RYA Level 2 & Basic Rescue Skills:

The course follows parts of the Safety Boat course and provides skills & knowledge to help powerboat drivers in basic rescue techniques.

This is an independent training course and is not RYA certified.

It is designed to be relevant to small clubs such as Durleigh Sailing Club.

Participants must be 16 years or older and have completed a Level 2 powerboat certificate including one seasons driving experience.

Students are provided with a RYA Safety Boat handbook and are expected to have studied it prior to the course.
