October's 2002 annual prize-giving was presided over by Ron Burdon (our retiring Principal)

and David Ritchie (RYA Chief National Dinghy Coach).

SYCSA was very pleased that David took time from his busy schedule, and was able to come to Durleigh to present the prizes at the end of the Saturday Club season. David was impressed by both the number of young sailors and the quality of their achievements. He commented "you certainly have a lot of impressive people at Durleigh".

It was a wonderful afternoon, and as usual, thanks to Sian and all helpers, the organization and food was outstanding as usual.
