Having successfully raised the funding and put the strategy in place to deliver free sailing to 9 local Primary Schools in our 2010 project "Enable Youth",

SYCSA decided to look for funding to provide free sailing opportunities for adults as well as youngsters from our local community.

Our 2011 project is "Enable All to Sail"

This project plans to offer free sailing and taster sessions for up to 350 new sailors.

These opportunities would be repeated for at least the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

To achieve the aim of providing free access to sailing for people from our local community, we need to find an alternative source of funding to enhance our fleet of dinghies.

We are asking for money to buy:

• 3 Wayfarer dinghies
• 1 Comet Trio dinghy

We decide to approach The Big Lottery "Peoples Millions" for funding to buy 4 new dinghies to be used in our 2011 project "Enable All to Sail".
