After successfully completing our first project "Fleet 2000" in 1999, SYCSA embarked upon it's second project in 2000.
The success of "Fleet 2000" created an increase in demand for sailing, hence we now need to extend our horizons even further through our second project:
"Fleet 2000 and beyond"
This was an ongoing project, which ended on 2006, and was designed to enhance the equipment available to both young and adult sailors. The project contains two elements:
to improve initial training opportunities

- 2 Topper dinghies (Achieved in 2003)
- 2 Optimist dinghies (Achieved when 6 used dinghies were donated by RYA in 2003)
- 2 Performance boats (Bought a Buzz in 2004 would still like a 420 dinghy)
- 2 new rescue boats and motors (Achieved:bought a RIB in 2004 and 2007)
