get a chance to be in a boat with a trained Instructor and get a feel for
sailing.

- Advanced
booking is essential.
- For further
tuition, you can progress to our June or September sailing sessions/course.

Ladies only
evening
a taster or refresher session,

- This
is a chance to sail in the company of other ladies, with female Instructors.
- Life
jackets provided.
- Drinks
provided, usually Pimms cocktail and cakes.
- Each
lady will receive a RYA "Taste of Sailing" certificate.
- Advanced
booking is essential.
- For further
tuition, you can progress to our June or September sailing sessions/course.

Level 1, Start Sailing
Level 2, Basic Skills

Saturday's 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th September & 2nd and 9th October.

£60 Start Sailing
per session or
£275 Full course if
all sessions are booked together.
- You can
come to one of these sessions to try sailing (provided the Course has spaces),
- It is
possible to achieve Levels 1 and 2 through this course.
- By attending
all sessions you will cover the RYA Levels 1 and 2 syllabi.
- If you
are a beginner, you will start by working towards RYA Level 1.
- The course
is designed to allow you to progress as far as Level 2.
- If you
have sufficient previous sailing experience you will refresh Level 1 and then
move on to Level 2.
- If
you have already achieved Level 1, you will work towards Level 2.
- Life
jackets provided.
- Warm
drinks provided.
- After
the final session in July, you and a partner will be invited to join in with
the annual Durleigh Sailing Club Regatta and BBQ. This is a fun day for all
of the family and a chance to meet club members.

Powerboat

will follow the RYA Powerboat Level 2 scheme.
- It is
designed as a basic driving qualification and is the minimum level most sailing
clubs require.
- Life
jackets provided.
- Drinks
available.

will follow the RYA Powerboat Level S scheme.
- It is
designed as a fleet rescue qualification and is the minimum level required
for controlling larger fleets.
