- This
is for the real beginner.
- You will
get a chance to be in a boat with a trained Instructor and experience the
thrill of sailing.
- You can
do one or both of these sessions.
- Life
jackets provided.
- Warm
drinks provided.
- Each
person will receive a RYA "Taste of Sailing" certificate.
- Advanced
booking is essential.
- For further
tuition, you can progress to our May - October sailing sessions/course.

For beginners:
Ladies
only evening
a taster or refresher session,
- Friday's
either 22nd or 29th June,
- This
is a chance to sail in the company of other ladies, with female Instructors.
- Life
jackets provided.
- Drinks
provided, usually Pimms cocktail and cakes.
- Each
lady will receive a RYA "Taste of Sailing" certificate.
- Advanced
booking is essential.
- For further
tuition, you can progress to our May - October sailing sessions/course.

For
beginners : Learn
to sail
Each
of the following Levels and Advanced Modules takes at least 16 hours to complete.
We
teach you the sailing skills and expect you to spend sometime at home consolidating
the background theory.
RYA
National Sailing Scheme:
- Level 1 Start
Sailing: typically takes 4 sessions to complete
- Level 2 Basic
Skills: typically takes 5/6 sessions after Level 1
- £35 per session
or
- £110 if you
book a Level 1 course
- £140 if you
book a Level 2 course

- You can
come to one of these sessions just to try sailing.
- It is
possible to achieve RYA Levels 1 and 2 through this course.
- By attending
typically 4 sessions you will cover either the RYA Levels 1 or Level 2 syllabus.
- If you
are a beginner, you will start by working towards RYA Level 1.
- By attending
further sessions you can progress as far as Level 2.
- If you
have sufficient previous sailing experience you can refresh Level 1 and then
move on to Level 2.
- If you
have already achieved Level 1, you will start working towards Level 2.
- We will
provide a course handbook which covers all of the required theory of sailing
- You will
get a personal progress chart for your Instructor to record your achievements
- Life

For improvers:
Consolidate
and extend your sailing skills
RYA National Sailing

- Level 3 Better
Sailing:
This course
provides you with a chance to revise and consolidate the skills learnt at
Level 2 and typically takes 5/6 sessions to complete after Level 2
If you wish to extend
your sailing skills, there are 4 more Advanced Modules
available, each typically takes 5/6 session to complete after Level 3:
